Foolish Atelier is the outlet for our founder’s, Casey Scheuerell, creative pursuit in leather work. We launched Foolish with a collection of leather journal covers, inspired by Casey’s first foray in designing and working with leather.

Our name is inspired from The Fool in Tarot, who represents the beginning of a journey. While Foolish is the literal beginning of a new creative pursuit for our Founder, we also hope to reframe what it means to be a little Foolish. So often considered an insult, an accusation of naivety or lack of intelligence, the world does not reward the Fool for the bravery to begin the journey, only when he succeeds along the way.

We hope to reframe the value in being a little Foolish, and be an example of the success that follows from a willingness to try.
